In a thrilling showcase of skill and determination, Uratex etched their name in the annals of basketball history as the first-ever champions of the Women’s PBA 3×3 Invitational.
Facing off against formidable opponents Gilas B in the final showdown at the Ayala Malls Glorietta, Uratex delivered a masterful performance to secure a convincing 22-15 victory and claim the coveted title. Shanda Anies and Eunique Chan emerged as the heroes for Uratex, with Anies leading the charge with 10 points, including the title-clinching basket, while Chan contributed eight points to the team’s triumphant effort.
The Dream, led by coach Katrina Quimpo, showcased exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the tournament, epitomizing the spirit of champions. Samantha Harada and Kaye Pingol provided valuable contributions, rounding out the scoring for Uratex and solidifying their dominance on the court.
