Shaina Nitura Shines Bright: Adamson’s Rising Star Tops UAAP Season 86 Volleyball Awards

In a season marked by outstanding performances and fierce competition, one player stood out above the rest. Nitura, the 19-year-old outside spiker from Adamson University, solidified her status as a volleyball phenom by clinching the top individual award of UAAP Season 86.

Nitura’s exceptional performance was instrumental in guiding Adamson to its second consecutive finals appearance, as the Lady Falcons swept all 12 games in the elimination round. Despite being in Grade 12, Nitura showcased maturity beyond her years on the court, earning her recognition as one of the Best Outside Spikers for the second consecutive season.

Joining Nitura in the spotlight were two other graduating Lady Baby Falcons who received individual accolades. Mary Grace Del Moral was honored with the 2nd Best Middle Blocker Award, while Felicity Sagaysay impressed as the Best Setter.
