Big man Oman Omandac is set to embark on a new journey in his collegiate basketball career as he bids farewell to Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) and joins Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC).

Omandac made the announcement of his departure from the LPU Pirates on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the institution since high school. In an Instagram post, he thanked LPU for the support throughout his time with the team, acknowledging the role of those who stood by him during his stint.

However, the towering center revealed his decision to turn a new leaf and pursue his collegiate basketball career at EAC, confirming his transfer to the GMA News Online on Thursday.

With one playing year left in NCAA Season 101, Omandac is poised to make an impact at EAC, bringing his skills and experience to the court. In Season 99, he showcased his capabilities with LPU, averaging 5.47 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Notably, Omandac delivered a standout performance of 24 points against EAC in a game where Enoch Valdez was absent. He also played a crucial role in securing victories for the Pirates, hitting timely three-pointers to propel the team past De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
