Ateneo Men’s Tennis Team Dominates Adamson for Sixth Win

The Ateneo de Manila University Men’s Tennis Team continued its impressive run in the UAAP Season 86 tournament with a commanding 5-0 sweep against Adamson University on Sunday at the Felicisimo Ampon Tennis Center in Manila.

The Blue Eagles’ victory propelled them to solo second place in the standings, boasting a stellar 6-1 record. Ateneo’s dominant performance puts them just behind the league-leading UST team, which remains undefeated at 6-0.

In a display of skill and determination, Ateneo’s top rookie candidate, JD Velez, played a pivotal role in securing the win against Adamson. Velez clinched the victory for Ateneo by defeating Ramon Bentillo with a score of 6-4, 4-1 (ret.) in the second singles match, showcasing his talent and resilience on the court.
