As the highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 13 draws near, defending world and MPL Philippines champion AP Bren and powerhouse Blacklist International are gearing up with relatively intact lineups, along with some key changes in their rosters.
AP Bren, the two-time world titlist, will retain its main five core players who delivered titles in Season 12 and the M5 World Championship last year. Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, David “FlapTzy” Canon, Michael “KylTzy” Sayson, Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, and Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo are all set to return for the new season, aiming to continue their winning streak.
In addition to their seasoned lineup, AP Bren has also announced the acquisition of Robert “Trebor” Sanchez, a former assistant coach for M4 champion Echo. Known for his strategic drafting skills, Trebor will work alongside Bren head coach Francis “Ducky” Glindro as they aim to defend their throne and secure another championship title.
Meanwhile, Blacklist International has unveiled its Season 13 roster, featuring Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Salic “Hadli” Imam, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, and Stephen “Sensui” Castillo. The Codebreakers have confirmed that Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse will be taking a break from the competitive scene, while the royal duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario will not be making a return from their hiatus.
